Bauer Lange in Ummanz

Nice thing for the family with smaller kids. Everything in place: Top accommodations, bakery, groceries, pub, really good attractions for the little ones So it was a good choice to use this place for our family reunion

Many different animals, a great experience for the little ones. There is something to see everywhere. Only the slide is a bit hidden, which was due to the current situation, but also very good because hardly anyone was with it.

One star for the free WiFi, but the food was an impertinence. Fried potatoes not seasoned and sometimes hard, the strange tomato salad was totally sour and the egg from the farmer's breakfast was artificial.

Well, there wasn't much going on in the off-season, actually only the junk barn was open. A few chickens and the pigsty could be “visited” that was it. The parking lot is right in front of the entrance, the signs are correct.

Were there for the first time yesterday. Unfortunately it only rained, so we could only stay in the farm shop and in the antique barn. But the food was very good. The staff were very friendly.

A very nicely made adventure farm, a must have for 9 years now, is part of the visit to Rügen. I also think it's great how the hygiene measures are implemented.

We spent a wonderful week at Bauer Lange's vacation. It was perfect for our kids (2 and 3). The hosts are very committed and fond of children. The team was always friendly too. There were many surprises for the children and the daily feeding of the animals together was a highlight. The food was also delicious. The yard is very neat and tidy. The apartments are adequately equipped.

We were surprised!!! Looking for something new and not even back to Karls, we came across Bauer Lange! We were really pleasantly surprised, from the opportunities for discovery to the variety of jobs! The food offer was very good as well as the quantities and prices were in a very fair ratio! A very clear recommendation, we would love to come back!

A farmer who knew how to make more of his business. Good cheap food, petting zoo, farm shop and much more. Highly recommended, especially with children.

Great place for a farm vacation with children. Bauer Lange has created a rustic place with innovative ideas, especially for children. We ate aspic with tartar sauce and fried potatoes or jacket potatoes. Fried potatoes were ok. Jacket potatoes very tasty. Jelly should be avoided. Was heavily interspersed with fat and rind.

It used to be quite good, now just embarrassing and a big disappointment. The waiting time of more than 35 minutes for the ordered food is unacceptable. Three servings of schnitzel with fried potatoes and green beans were ordered. None of this is a major challenge and was served within 15 minutes on previous visits. When asked for more than 30 minutes, the owner Bauer Lange arrogantly said that 30 minutes of waiting time in the catering trade were quite normal and used Corona as an excuse. However, compliance with corona protective measures was not fully met. Neither the owner nor his staff wore protective masks while walking through the restaurant. No tables were disinfected during our stay. Other guests who then no longer felt it necessary to put on a protective mask when walking through the restaurant were not made aware of the applicable regulations. The entire facility is only designed for mass tourism. The food has decreased a lot with the increasing number of day visitors. No comparison to previous years. For me as a resident of the island of Ummanz it was the last time to visit Bauer Lange. It is better to drive a few kilometers further to Trent or Schaprode, there you can get the same dishes in much better quality and the waiting times are much shorter and the hosts do not ignore the Corona protective measures.

Super nice farm where something can always be done somewhere. Of course, Corona is partially not possible and limited, but everything that is currently possible will be implemented and tried. We had a couple of very, very nice days in one of the holiday apartments there. The apartment was well equipped and super furnished. We also enjoyed breakfast in the barn every morning. We are already thinking about coming back in 2021 with hopefully fewer Corona requirements.

Hospitality is very important here! Bauer Lange's farm is a paradise, especially for kids up to 10 years of age! And parents and older siblings can also feel comfortable in the heavenly peace in one of the spacious holiday apartments. We recommend!

Adventure farm with children and farm shop. The grilling was good, had the beer chicken. The grill master was a bit in love but otherwise it was delicious. For me, once is enough for families, I think that's great.

We spent a few hours there on prior recommendation. A stay with small children up to 4/5 years of age is definitely worth it. There are some small carousels or machines for small children as well as two trampolins, swings, seesaws, corn maze, straw pool and a mountain of straw bales for climbing. There are also Kettcars everywhere, which the small children can easily take. Some things have passed their zenith for a while, others were almost new. We had the expectation that animals could be petted. However, this only worked with the goats. Everything else is viewed from a distance. The food was really rustic and good and reasonably priced. We were only briefly in the antique hall because the seller seemed annoyed to us. In general, we believe that you can spend very relaxed holidays there in the existing holiday apartments. Overall a recommendation.

The farm is getting on a bit. The food fits. Ideal for the children, as they can see different animals and let off steam at the attractions. They are kettling, swimming, corn maze and much more.

A lot to experience and discover for young and old ... lovingly designed. Rabbits, chickens, guinea pigs and of course pigs and goats can be visited. For the physical well-being is well taken care of with schnitzel, soup and other dishes.

A good place when the weather is not so nice, lots of play options for children, rustic ambience and food. A farm that fits into the world.

A paradise for children. So many highlights for the little ones, which were designed with a lot of effort and love. The food was delicious too. It was hard to get our child out of here.

Satisfied all round. Our 2 year old had a lot of fun with "Strohhaufenberg" and "Goat-Watching". Generally a nice animal husbandry, I think it's great that the enclosures are not accessible, you can stroke them on the fence if you want. The food was good too, and everything was top-priced. We will definitely come back again :)

Perfect for vacation with kids. The owner and staff is very friendly. They offer e.g. daily farm related programs for kids. Parents and the little one's can learn things about farming or just relax and play the entire day. You can get good food there coming directly from the farm...if they grow it. Otherwise food comes from neighborhood.

It was told to us, that this is a nice place. In my point of view, it is only trap for tourists. We pay 50 EUR for lunch for two. It is normal price in nice restaurant, but not in this semi-imbiss. Place is full of small insect, which you have after visit everywhere. I am travelling to Rugen more than 20 times, and for sure this is the worst place here.

For children there are a lot of nice toys and the parlor was warm and comfortable. But the animal's places are dirty overall and there are also so many ill and neglected cats.

Great for half an afternoon with kids - go carts and hay barns/ mazes and some animals most notably pigs - coffee and cake in the shop area with local produce - worth a visit
